Since it was founded in 2006, STEPS has nurtured a multitude of small businesses throughout the greater Albuquerque area and Bernalillo County. We have helped them with startup planning and referring them to appropriate local resources as needed. We continue to support our clients as they grow with one on one, fast-track consulting using the skills and expertise of our Resource Board.
In 2013 we started working with the Street Food Institute, ABQ Food Carts and Curbside Cuisine focused on providing educational and entrepreneurial experience in the street food vendor and supply business.
Ask about our Social Enterprise consulting and planning services to nonprofits. Many of these organizations are not staffed with the entrepreneurial skill sets to launch these new forms of revenue streams.
STEPS is now active and has new links to socially responsive enterprises and civic revitalization programs such as District #6 Neighborhood groups, Route 66 Planning, Littler Globe and New Life Homes, ABQ Downtown Action Team & TED X and the United Way of Central New Mexico Center for Non-profit Excellence. STEPS is proud to be responsible for the founding of the Albuquerque International Festival.
