STEPS is all about you – the business owner. We meet with you personally to discuss your dreams and plans. Our Executive Director helps you work through the reality of doing business in Albuquerque. We will help you find the resources you’ll need to be successful.
To start or run a business by yourself is difficult at best – having a team really does help. STEPS believes there are three essentials to creating this team – a great product, good marketing and firm financials. We can help you find the people and resources you need to succeed. Our Resource Board includes a diverse group of community supporters and entrepreneurs from all walks of life and local neighborhoods who know the complexities of economic development and the challenges of doing business in our city.
Along with hosting informative workshops, STEPS is the organizer of the Albuquerque International Festival (ABQIF). As a client, you will be showcased during this day–long event which celebrates the International District. It celebrates the amazing diversity of communities, businesses, performers, schools, neighborhood associations, non-profit groups and public sector agencies active in Albuquerque. The 2010 ABQ International Festival will be held September 18th at the Talin World Market on the corner of Louisiana and Central.
